Now back and better than ever! We have partnered with Kentucky Homefront and the International Order of E.A.R.S. to bring you a two-day collaborative Oct. 20th & 21st. Friday, October 20th at 18 schools this year throughout Jerfferson & Oldham counties the festival will be filled with storytelling glory for our kids and Saturday, October 21st at Blackacre will not disappoint with an incredible line up of storytellers and performers.
Matthew BlackEagle Man will set up a traditional teepee on Thursday night when school kids can come to see an information program there on Friday. Saturday evening will be filled with stories and activities sure to please all ages. Named after Louisville’s first settlement, the Corn Island Storytelling Festival was a nationally known autumn fixture that drew thousands of fans for three decades now! Don’t miss your opportunity to participate in this fun Louisville tradition set against the Blackacre's 1795 Historic Barn!
